Irene Chreene, 70, of Beaumont died Saturday, January 30, 2011, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth. She was born December 6, 1940 in Lafayette, Louisiana to Elton and Laura (Francis) Norman and retired from Land Manor Inc.
Oswell Chreene, 79, of Beaumont died Sunday, February 2, 2011, at Harbor Hospital in Beaumont. He was born February 24, 1931 in Lafayette, Louisiana to Earnest and Georgella Burkett and was a retired steel worker with Bethlehem Steel. “Red” was an avid fisherman, shrimper, and storeowner.
They are survived by a daughter, Deanna Miles of Beaumont; two grandchildren, Jeffery Lynn Miles and Victoria Christine Miles, both of Miami, Florida; and two goddaughters, Ida Lane and Michelle Black, both of Beaumont.
They both loved many people; they helped many people’s lives and assisted them to prosper in various communities.
