Clifton "Cliff" Wayne Strother, Sr.

Clifton “Cliff” Wayne Strother, 63, of Vidor died Monday, February 7, 2011, at Silsbee Oaks Health Care in Silsbee.
He was born in Freeport, Texas and had lived most his life in the Vidor area where he worked in construction as a crane operator.
Clifton is survived by his wife, Sonya Strother of Vidor; children, Clint Strother and his wife Rebecca of Vidor, Delinda McCullough and her boyfriend Reggie Rosetta of Groves, Tonya Rawson and her husband Kane of Silsbee, and Lee Morse and his wife Ashley of Huffman; eleven grandchildren; Suzann Thibodeaux and her husband Chris of Beaumont; and brother, Bo Strother and his wife Joyce and Troy Strother and his wife Lisa all of Vidor.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifton Strother and Sylvia Sonnier; and brother, Shorty Strother.
His graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2011, at Restlawn Cemetery in Vidor under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday, February 9, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. until Noon at the funeral home.
