Joe Sanford Merrick, 72, of Lubbock, died Thursday, January 27, 2011, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
He was born April 2, 1938, in Lamesa to Flo Wright and Howell Merrick. Joe was a retired technician with Coulter and a United States Army veteran.
Survivors include his daughters, Melanie Daleo and her husband Scooter of China and Tiffanie Fernandez and her husband Mynor of McKinney; grandchildren, Alex Walter, Madison Stelly, Joey Stelly and Zoe Fernandez; brother, Jack Merrick; and sister, Donna Gayle Gill.
A family committal service will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
