Pat Davis

Pat Davis, 69, of Port Arthur, died Thursday January 20, 2011, in Port Neches. She was born August 11, 1941, in Rocky Gap, Virginia to Lillie Griffith and Luther Tolbert.  Pat had lived in the Port Arthur area since 1981 and was a retired store manager.

She enjoyed gardening, sewing and possessed the skill of learning to play piano by ear. Most of all Pat loved her family and being a mother and grandmother. 

She is survived by her daughters, Sandy Davis Snell and her husband Paul of Kennedale, Vickie Davis Rodney and her husband Mark of Port Neches and Shelby Holtsmith and her husband Roger of Houston; grandchildren, Sheri Lynn Snell, Madison Paige Rodney and Grant Christopher Rodney; sister, Joyce Woolridge of Hopewell, Virginia; brothers, John D. Tolbert and his wife Judy of Rocky Gap, Virginia and L.B. Tolbert and his wife Patsy of Buena Vista, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.  

Pat is preceded in death by her sisters, Janie Vault, Geraldine Turner and Hassie Tolbert; and brother, Tom Tolbert. 

Her memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2011, at Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
