Travis “Buck” Earl Sharp, 62, of Newton died Monday, January 10, 2011, at his residence.
Travis served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam and was a truck driver.
He is survived by his son, Ernest Sharp and his wife Jennifer of Silsbee; daughters, Kimberly Ard and her husband Denny of Fred and Amanda Sharp of Kountze; grandchildren, Chelsea and Taylor Fisher of Silsbee; mother of his children, Linda Loggins of Fred; brothers, Harold Sharp and his wife Virginia of Silsbee and Ben Sharp and his wife Cheryl of Warren; sisters, Shirley Smith of Lufkin, Jackie Sharp and Polly Harris both of Hemphill, Sue Collins of Silsbee, and Helen Chaney of Lufkin.
His funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, January 13, 2011, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee with burial to follow at Frank’s Branch Cemetery in Fred. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday, January 12, 2011, 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Broussard’s.
