She was born March 28, 1967, in Houston to Leroy and Shirley Myers Nelson. 

Vicki is survived by her father, Leroy Nelson of Donnie; brother, Douglas Nelson of Waco; aunts, Betty Mosley of Beaumont, Cecile Lamb and her husband Delbert of Ivanhoe; uncles, Tommy Myers and his wife Donna of Fannett, and Wiley Myers and his wife Irene of Huntington; and several cousins and extended family. 

She is preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Myers Nelson and uncle, Guy W. Mosley. 

Her graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2011, at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Chester, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 10, 2011, at Broussard’s.
