Lou Anne Matthews, 47, of Winnie died November 28, 2010, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital.
A native of Beaumont, Lou Anne lived all her life in the Gulf Coast area and was office manager for Simon Resort Development, Inc.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, December 2, 2010, at Broussard’s Chapel, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie with burial in High Island Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Broussard’s.
Lou Anne is survived by her brothers, Mike Matthews and his wife Deanne and Jay Matthews of Houston, Jeff Matthews of Bryan, Matt Matthews of Conroe and Stanton Matthews and his wife Lori of Panama City, Florida; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jay K. Matthews and Mary Patricia " Patsy " Matthews and her brother, Steven Mark Matthews.
