Marjorie “Marge” Henry, 84, of Silsbee, formerly of Angleton, Texas was called home by her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 17, 2010.
Marge had a long and fulfilling life. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother. She loved to cook and spent countless hours researching recipes for her personal collection. She was willing to share her knowledge with anyone who was interested. Marge also had a green thumb and could grow anything. She took great pride in her yard and gardens for many years.
She is survived by her sons, Baxter Henry and his wife Karen of Silsbee and Dan Henry and his wife Beth of Hewitt, Texas; daughter, Tamara Bickham and her husband Don of Leakey, Texas; sisters, Jean Crowson, Pat Antley and her husband Willie Lane, Ruth MacDonald, Sara Gillam and her husband Bennie; grandsons, Clint Beckham of Houston, Joshua Henry of Hewitt, and Caleb Henry of Silsbee; and many friends throughout her life.
Marge is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jesse Arlan Henry; parents, Baxter Sr. and Erna MacDonald; and brothers, Baxter Jr., David, Frank, and George MacDonald.
A private committal service for the burial of Marge’s cremated remains will be held at Marlow Cemetery in Cameron, Texas under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
