She was born January, 30, 1921, to Dalphine Daley and Ovalton Hargraves in Kaplan, Louisiana. She was a hairdresser by trade.

Her survivors include her son, Robert G. Simoneaux and his wife Lorrie of Livingston; daughters, Mildred Ann Ferguson and husband Clark of Houston, and Aileen R. Grawford and her husband Sammy of Mission; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Violet Harrington of Crowley, Louisiana; and brother, William Hargraves of Houston.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Milton Simoneaux; son, Emmette Simoneaux.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 11, 2010, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 5075 Bigner Road, Beaumont, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A Christian Vigil will be held 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 10, 2010, at Broussard’s.

Sadie will be remembered as someone who had a wonderful sense of humor.
