Helen H. Gibson, 82, of Beaumont, passed away October 28, 2010, at Clairmont Nursing Home, in Beaumont. She was born December 10, 1927, near Groesbeck, to Claud and Clara Hand.
She was a member of Westgate Memorial Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sister, Desi Brown of Conroe; two sons, Thomas C. Gibson of Beaumont and Warren D. Gibson of Loranger, Louisiana; two grandsons, Jay Gibson of Kilgore and David Gibson of Hockley; two granddaughters, Mary Anne Gibson Owens of Flint and Nancy Gibson Busceme of Beaumont; and five great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas A. Gibson, Jr.; and sister, Bonnie Thompson.
A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 6, 2010, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. Cremation arrangements were handled by Broussard’s Crematorium.
