Suzanne “Suzy” Sullivan, 49, of Baytown suddenly passed away Monday, October 25, 2010.
Suzanne was born April 1, 1961, in Winnie, Texas to Sidney and Roseanne Sullivan. Her family moved to High Island where she attended school there until her ninth grade when they moved to Baytown. Suzanne graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. where she played on the Varsity Basketball team through out her high school years. She was a Correctional Officer for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, loved to fish, go to the beach and was a true sister, aunt and friend.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Saturday, October 30, 2010, at Broussard’s Chapel, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive, in Winnie with burial to follow in High Island Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Broussard’s.
Suzanne is survived by her father, Sidney Vern “Pop” Sullivan of Baytown; sister, Angela Moore and her husband David of Jacksonville, Florida; nephews, Jeremy “Bubba” Moore, Seth Moore and Wesley Moore; niece, Cora Lynn Moore; goddaughter, Summer Lea Albright; aunts, uncles, cousins; special friends, Amy Babin Hudson and Rita K. Byrd and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Roseanne Byerly Sullivan and sister, Cora Lynn “Corkie” Babineaux.
