Virginia "Gina" Elaine Hutchison

Virginia “Gina” Hutchison, 87, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.
Born on October 17, 1922, to Roy and Lucille Busby in Dilley, Texas, she attended Texas Women’s University and moved to Beaumont to teach public school. She married Earl Hutchison and they had two sons. Virginia was a real estate agent for many years, working at both American Real Estate and Re/Max Real Estate. Known for her upbeat attitude and giving nature, Gina was active at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, a member of St. Hilda’s Guild and was a sustainer in the Junior League of Beaumont.
She is survived by her sons, Stephen Hutchison and his wife Becky and Bobby Hutchison; brother, R.A. Busby of Dallas; and nieces, Gina, Jan, and Sandra.
The family wishes to thank her doctors and the staff of Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth for their kindness and care.
Her memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 18, 2010, at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 680 Calder Street, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin. A gathering of her family and friends will follow her service at 170 Summerwood Street in Beaumont. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Broussard’s Crematorium, 5150 Stivers Drive.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the organization of one’s choice.
