Hazel Doiron Porterfield

Hazel Doiron Porterfield, 89, of Beaumont, died Saturday, August 21, 2010, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth Beaumont. A lifelong native of Beaumont, she was born on August 18, 1921, to Martha Doiron and Eugene George Doiron. Hazel was the co-owner of Porterfield’s Upholstery and Carpet.
Survivors include her two sons, Kember O. Porterfield of Beaumont and Woodson O. Porterfield, Jr. of Diboll; daughter, Gayle Stanford of Lufkin; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Her graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2010, at Parkersburg Cemetery in Clinton, Oklahoma. A gathering of her family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
