Raquel Alfaro

Raquel Alfaro, 70, of Beaumont, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010, at Christus Dubuis Hospital of Beaumont. A native of Zacapu, Michoacan, Mexico, she was born December 31, 1939 to Carmen Torres and Antonio Alfaro. Raquel was a longtime resident of Beaumont where she was the head janitor at Fletcher Elementary before her retirement.
Survivors include her son, Mark Alfaro of Beaumont; brothers, Arturo Alfaro and Manuel Alfaro; and sisters, Rebecka Alfaro, Maria Alfaro and Teresa Alfaro.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Jesus Alfaro.
A family committal will be at Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
