Clarence "Boo" Roy Libersat
July 15, 1925 - April 27, 2010

Clarence “Boo” Libersat, 84 of Groves passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at the Serenity Home in Port Arthur.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Broussard’s in Nederland. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00-8:00 PM, Friday at Broussard’s.

Mr. Libersat was a native of Erath, Louisiana and has been a lifelong resident of Groves. He retired as an electrician with the IBEW 479, and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Groves. He served is country in the United States Marines in the Philippines and was given a purple heart.

Mr. Libersat is survived by his wife, Betty Luquette Libersat; daughter, Becky Libersat Frost; three sons, Ricky, Jimmy, and Terry Libersat; brother, Henry Libersat; eight grandchildren, Aaron and Brie Libersat, Melissa Hales, Jamie Marshall, Brandy Barnard, Jarren, Johnathon and Jennia Libersat; two great grandchildren, Tanner Hales and Keagain Marshall.
