Linda Lee "Jerri" Sartin

Linda Lee “Jerri” Sartin, 74, of Sabine Pass, died Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Christus Hospital St. Mary in Port Arthur.
She was born July 8, 1935, in Richmond, Texas to Dee (Matkin) Hoffman and Lee Hoffman. A resident of Sabine Pass since 1965, she and her husband Charles founded Sartin’s Restaurant in 1971. Always placing others needs first, she helped many Sabine Pass students through college.
She is survived by her husband, Charles D. Sartin, Sr. of Sabine Pass; daughter, Kelli Didre of Houston; son, Charles Douglas Sartin, Jr. and his wife Emily Weller Sartin; grandchildren, Charles Douglas Sartin III, Trevin Jace Boudreaux, and Cole Jordan Summers; brother, Phillip Hoffman; and sister, Debbie York.
She is preceded in death by her brother.
A gathering of Jerri’s family and friends will begin at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 2010, at Sartin’s West, 1990 IH 10 South, Beaumont. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
