Lucy "Maw Maw Momma" D. Riche

Lucy “Maw Maw, Momma” D. Riche, 94, of Lumberton, took her heavenly flight Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
A native of Independence, Louisiana, Lucy had lived in the area for fifteen and a half years and was the owner and operator of Riche Grocery.
Lucy is survived by her daughter, Judy Marble and her husband Ronnie of Lumberton; step-children, A. J. Riche and his wife Billie of Metairie, Louisiana, Carol Riche of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Bobbie Breaux of Metairie, Louisiana; grandchildren, Donna Patin and her husband Jim of Lumberton; great-grandchildren, Chad Gossett of Lumberton, D. J. Chance of Silsbee, and Josh Patin and Chrissy Touchete both of Abbeville, Louisiana; and sister, Nancy Trombatore of La Puento, California.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Arcade Riche.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 24, 2010, with visitation starting at 12:00 noon, at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, 3458 Hwy 107 South, Plaucheville, Louisiana, with entombment at Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, April 23, 2010, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with a service of remembrance starting at 6:00 P.M. at Broussard’s.
