Donald F. Jackson, 75, of Nederland, passed away Monday, April 19, 2010 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.
A graveside service with military honors will be Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. Arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 pm, Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at the mortuary.
Mr. Jackson was a native of Lebanon, Virginia and lived in the Nederland area since 1959. He was an instrument technician and a veteran of the Army.
Mr. Jackson is survived by his son, Donald F. Jackson II and his wife Donna of Nederland; daughters, Penny Havard and her husband James of Nederland and Candice Marroquin and her husband Tim of Nederland; grandchildren, Donald F. “Trey”, Matt, Brad and Nicole Jackson, Clint Havard and his wife Anna, Brent Havard and his wife Wendy, Taylor Havard and Timothy and Danielle Marroquin; great-grandchildren, Sophia Havard and Michael and Miranda Beard; brothers, John Jackson of Nederland, Andrew Jackson of Austin and Bobby Jackson of Port Neches.
