Christopher “Chris” Michael Coburn, 37, of Nederland, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.   A memorial mass will be celebrated at 2 pm Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland with Reverend Monsignor Dan Malain officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland.   Chris was a native and lifetime resident of the Nederland area. He was a longshoreman and enjoyed golf and baseball.   Chris is survived by his son, Cross Michael Coburn of Groves; mother and step-father, David and Gaytha Guillot of Nederland; sister, Britny Trevino and her husband Michael of Houston; brothers, Cody and Jody Coburn of Port Neches; grandfather, Fred Gebauer of Nederland; grandmother, Hazel Tucker of Port Neches; aunts and uncles, Lajaunda and Harry Williams of Nederland and Keith and Jeanie Gebauer of Taylor’s Landing; uncle, Ronnie Gebauer of Houston, Beverly and Pro Greenleaf of Austin, Bonnie and Butch Collins of Bridge City, John Coburn of Beaumont, Eddie Coburn of Groves, Jeremy Coburn of Port Neches; cousins, Tiffany Dillard, Charlene Gebauer and Kit Gebauer; father and step-mother, Mickey and Bonnie Coburn of Port Neches and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Charlene Rees.   In lieu of flowers a scholarship fund has been set up for Cross Coburn at MCT Credit Union, P.O. Box 279, Port Neches, Texas 77651, Acct # 13950009.
