Dorothy Mae Zampini, 89, of Groves passed away on February 12, 2010 at Cypress Glen Nursing Home in Port Arthur.
Services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, February 15, 2010 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Reverend Ralph Foster officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be from 4 to 8 PM Sunday at the mortuary.
Mrs. Zampini was born in Morgan City, Louisiana and has resided in Groves since 1941. She was a homemaker and a member of Sanctuary of Bethel Temple in Port Neches.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Bridgett Richard, Sr.; husband, Louis Albert Zampini; son, Ralph Zampini; grandson, Jeffrey Zampini. She is survived by a daughter, Madeline Rother and husband, Bernard of Palacious, TX.; sons, Phillip Zampini and wife, Ruth of Groves; Richard Zampini and wife, Joan of Port Neches, and Randy Zampini and wife, Cindy of Groves; daughter-in-law, Judy Zampini of Groves; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; sister, Darlene Knight of Port Arthur.
