William Carl “Bill” Thompson, 79, of Vidor, died Monday, February 8, 2010, at his residence. A native of Pampa, Texas and a resident of Vidor since 1997, Bill was self-employed as a truck driver.
His wife, Sarah Lea Thompson preceded him in death.
Survivors include his children, Curtis Dale Bagley of Vidor, Terry Bagley of Silsbee, and Frankie Rike of Benbrook, Texas; sister, Sarah Newman of Pampa, Texas; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 12, 2010, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont with interment to follow at Restlawn Cemetery. A gathering of his family and friends will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 11, 2010, at Broussard’s.
