Ida May Hollinger
May 13, 1922 - December 20, 2009

Ida May Hollinger, 87, of Fannett died Sunday, December 20, 2009, at her residence. She was born May 13, 1922, in Eunice, Louisiana to Homer and Alia (Dearborne) Richmond. Ida was a homemaker who loved her family and will be missed by many.

 

Survivors include her daughter, Beverly Hines of Beaumont; son, Wayne Rose and his wife Sharon of  Beaumont; sister, Dee LaBove of China; brother, Dewey Richard of Mathis, Texas; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; niece and nephew, Ricky and Jennifer Rose who are both proudly serving in the United States Air Force; and many other loving  family members.

 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Hollinger.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2009, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church,  245 W. Highway 90, China with Reverend Luong Q. Tran officiating.  Burial will follow at China Cemetery in China.  A gathering of her family and friends will be Monday, December 21, 2009, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Broussard’s, 1605 N. Major Drive, Beaumont.
