Volley
Edward Diddle, 89, of Beaumont, died Friday, December 23, 2016, at Harbor
Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on December 30, 1926, to Ivena Stallcup Diddle
and Vollie D. Diddle, in Granger and was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Survivors
include his wife, Barbara Castro Diddle; daughters, Chris Dearbonne of Houston
and Peggy Robinson and her husband, Johnny, of Lumberton; stepdaughters,
Candace Poorman of Kerrville; Jerraye Jo Sherman and Kevin Sekaly Cribbs and
her husband, Sonny, all of Beaumont; stepson, Walter Marion Sekaly, Jr. of
Beaumont; five grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; nine
great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; one niece; and three
nephews.
Volley
is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Christina Riethmeyer and Dorothy
Walther; brother-in-law, Howard Reithmeyer; and son-in-law, Dan Dearbonne.
A
family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of
Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
