Anne Lee Delahoussaye, 91, of Port Neches, died Thursday, December 8, 2016. She was born on March 28, 1925, in Port Arthur, to Tracie Macha Michna and Charles Michna.

 

Anne was a very kind and good hearted person. She was a great care giver and took care of her father and brother for many years. Anne loved church, her family, and friends. She enjoyed going to the camp at Toledo Bend and fishing.

 

Survivors include her sons, Earl Frederick of Nederland and Larry Frederick and his wife, Carolyn, of Orange; daughter, Delores “Dee” Howard and her husband, Cleve, of Mauriceville; stepsons, Joe Delahoussaye and Susan, of Lago Vista and Glynn Delahoussaye, Jr. and his wife, Cathy, of Frankfort, Kentucky; stepdaughters, Margaret Anzaldua and her husband, Paul, of Timpson and Diane Humble and her husband, Avon, of Buna; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glynn Delahoussaye, Sr.; son, Murphy J. Frederick; three brothers; and one sister.

 

A gathering of Mrs. Delahoussaye’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Christian Vigil at 6:30 p.m., Monday, December 12, 2016, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 2006 Nall Street, Port Neches, with her interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
