Clarence "Bud" Julius Galler
October 6, 1930 - October 24, 2016

Clarence Julius Galler, 86, of Winnie, died Monday, October 24, 2016, in Benbrook, Texas. He was born on October 6, 1930, in Rosenberg, to Magdalena Wendland Galler and Frederick Galler.

Clarence was a respected Master Mason, past Master Mason of the Winnie Masonic Lodge #1377, veteran of the United States Air Force and member of the First United Methodist Church of Winnie-Stowell. 

Family was a major focus in his life he had a big heart and loved his family very much. He will be missed dearly.

He is survived by sons, Leslie Galler, and his wife, Yuri, of Fort Worth; Jay Galler and his wife, Lori, of Benbrook; and Rick Galler of Winnie; grandchildren, Allison Soileau, Kyle Galler, Lauren Chenoweth, Blake Galler, Derek Galler, Megan Galler and Daniel Galler; seven great-grandchildren: Kadie Soileau, Mason Soileau, Logan Galler, Jax Phillips, Greyson Galler and Jordan Chenoweth; and numerous other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-nine years, Dorla Dean Galler; twelve brothers and sisters; and grandson David Galler.

A gathering of Mr. Galler’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 28, 2016, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 29, 2016, at First United Methodist Church, 1708 State Highway 124, Winnie, with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
