Marilyn Eilleen Thomas, 78, of Lumberton, died Sunday, October 16, 2016.  She was born on July 30, 1938, in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, to Anna Kalinowski Leigh and French Leigh. 

Survivors include her children, Steve Leigh of Houston; Connie George and Roger Thomas of Lumberton; and Timothy Thomas and his wife, Renee, of Alabama; grandchildren, Jaclyn Jackson and her husband, Kyle, of Warren; Brandie Ryan and her husband, Richard; Jennifer George and her husband, Josh White of Silsbee; Coleman Wilson of Kountze; Kristina George of Lumberton; Roger Dean Thomas, III of Kountze; Mitchell Thomas of South Carolina; and Brandon Thomas, Karl Austin Thomas and Tyler Thomas, all of Lumberton; eight great-grandchildren; and brothers, Karl Leigh of Groves and Robert Leigh of Utah.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger D. Thomas, Sr.; son, Jesse Thomas; and brother and sister.

Mrs. Thomas’ funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 21, 2016, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her committal will be handled by Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
