Homer Austin Baxter, 61, of Beaumont, died Friday,
October 14, 2016. He was born on December 1, 1954, in Midwest City, Oklahoma,
to Dora Mae Walls Baxter and James Baxter. Homer is survived by his brothers, Kenneth Baxter
and his wife, Robin Walker, of Beaumont; and JC Baxter and his wife Libby, of
Tyler; and nephews, Lathon Baxter and his wife, Pam, of Midwest City, Oklahoma;
Robert Powell and his wife, Jennifer, of Beaumont; and W.J. Norris and his wife,
Rose.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Baxter’s committal will be held at Broussard’s
Crematorium, Beaumont.
