Anita Loos Langford, 85, of Sour Lake,
died Monday, October 17, 2016. She was
born on May 9, 1931, in Udenheim,
Germany, to
Johanna Loos Barth and Georg Barth.
Anita immigrated to the United States in 1956 after marrying her husband
while he was stationed in Germany. She has lived in the Kountze area for
fifty-six years.
Survivors include her husband,
Douglas Theodore Langford, Sr.; son, Dale Langford and his wife, Becky Managan,
of Lafayette, Louisiana; grandchildren, Daniel Langford and his wife, Aundreal
of Lafayette, Louisiana and Michelle Lopez and her husband, Jose, of Dayton;
great-grandchildren, Alexandria Langford of Lafayette, Louisiana; and Leanne
Lopez and Laine Lopez, both of Dayton; and brother, Harst Loos of Udenheim,
Germany. She is preceded in death by her
parents; son, Douglas Langford, Jr.; brothers, Godfreid and Heinz; and Sisters
Hilda and Toni.
A gathering of Mrs. Langford’s
family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with her service at 2:00 p.m.,
Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. Her interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery,
Sour Lake.
