Earl J. Dore, 83, of Nederland,
passed away on October 13, 2016. He was
born on January 27, 1933, in Breaux
Bridge, Louisiana.
Earl was a graduate from Thomas Jefferson
High School and was a
Korean War Army Veteran and later worked at Gulf Oil for forty-one years. He was an avid Nascar fan and loved watching
his Louisiana State University Tigers and every other football game that he
could.
Survivors include his son, Kurt A. Dore of Nederland;
and daughter, Tanya Lynn Dore Harper and her husband, Steven Eric Harper, of Beaumont. He is preceded in death by his parents; the
love of his life, his wife, Dixie Lee Guidry Dore; and son, Cornel Matthew
Dore.
A private service for Mr. Dore will be handled by
Broussard’s Silsbee.
