Lorena Wayne Peppo

Lorena Wayne Young Peppo, 87, of Houston, died Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Houston Methodist Hospital.  She was born on February 19, 1929, in Daisetta, to Laura Nell Walters Young and Samuel Young. Lorena was a retired registered nurse.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Fern Peppo Harrington, of Houston; sons, Clinton Raymond Peppo, Jr. and wife, Diane, of Pasadena; and Scott Dwayn Peppo and wife, Jami, of Beaumont; grandson, Clinton Thomas Peppo, of Dallas; granddaughter, Patricia Danielle Peppo, of Denham Springs, Louisiana; great granddaughter, Taylor LeighAnne Weatherford, of Denham Springs, Louisiana; and sister, Kathleen Young Prewitt.

Lorena is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clinton Raymond Peppo, Sr.; grandson, Christopher Raymond Peppo; sisters, Violet Louise Young Smith; Katie Christena Young Smith; and Maudie Alta Young Brown; and brother, Steadman Allison “S.A.” Young.

A gathering of Mrs. Peppo’s family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Saturday, October 15, 2016, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont, with the graveside service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Trout Creek Cemetery, 1509 FM 1004, in Trout Creek.
