Maxine Smith Womack, 69, of Village Mills,
passed away peacefully Friday, October 7, 2016.
Maxine was a loving wife, mother and
grandmother. She enjoyed riding
Harley Davidson motorcycles with her husband and ATVs with her grandchildren.
Later in life, she enjoyed crime television shows and relaxing on her patio in
Wildwood.
Even well past her
prime dancing years, she did the best twist anyone has ever seen. She
was cared for with professionalism and love at Silsbee Oaks Nursing Center. She will be dearly missed by
everyone who had the opportunity and pleasure to know her.
Maxine is survived by her son, Mike Womack and
his wife, Sherrie; grandchildren, Ashleigh Womack, Joshua Womack, Hannah
Bassana, Marina Bassana, and Hart Bassana.
A gathering of Ms. Womack's family and
friends will begin at 6:00 p.m., with her memorial
service to follow at 6:30 p.m., Friday, October 14th, at
Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road,
Silsbee. Her committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
