Gerald Wayne Williams

Gerald Wayne Williams, 71, of Kountze, died Saturday, October 8, 2016. He was born on October 23, 1944, in Port Arthur, to Gwendolyn Ann Wynn and Norrbit Lee Williams. Mr. Williams served his county as a Gunners Mate in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged after ten years of service. He  retired as a  Deputy for the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department

Survivors include his granddaughter, Shelly Wilson and her husband, Chris, of Kountze; step daughter, Cinnamon Cappel of Pasadena; step grandson, Anthony Cappel; two great-grandchildren; and sister, Wanda Lacheney and her husband, Sydney, of Nevada, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Sandra Kay Williams.

A private family committal will be held at Broussard's Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard's, Kountze.
