Donald “Don” Rothwell, of Winnie, died Wednesday, September
28, 2016. He was born on December 14, 1959, in Anahuac, to Mable Littleton
Rothwell and Darrel J. Rothwell.
Survivors include his wife, Paula Rothwell; and daughters,
Dawn Rothwell, Courtney Rothwell – Wolfe and her husband, Micah, Natalie
Walker; and Uncle Whoochie, all of Winnie; brothers, Darrel Franklin Rothwell
and his wife, Beverly, of LaPorte; David Rothwell, of Clear Lake;
sister-in-law, Pamela Laird and her husband, Jack, of Livingston; two grandchildren, Remington Wolf and Lexington
Wolf; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Don was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Dennis Mark
Rothwell and Daniel Lynn Rothwell; and sister, Donna Thelma Rothwell.
A gathering of Mr. Rothwell’s
family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., September 30, 2016
at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His funeral service will be
held at 2:00 p.m., October 1, 2016, at Broussard’s Chapel, followed by
interment at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
The family requests that memorial contributions be
made in Mr. Rothwell’s name to American Cancer Society, #4 Bayou Brandt, Ste B,
