Wilma L. Crump

Wilma L. Crump, 93, of Nederland, died Wednesday, September 21, 2016. She was born on March 19, 1923, in Port Neches, to Lillian Crump Block and Albert Block.

Wilma loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were the light of her life. She was a Master Gardener and everyone’s “therapist” if someone had a problem.

Survivors include her son, Ronnie Sanders and his wife, Martie, of Nederland; grandchildren, Ron Sanders and his wife, Debbie, of Nederland and Randy Sanders and his wife, Juanita, of Richards; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Sean, and Abigail Sanders; sister, Aleene Block of San Antonio; niece, Ann Cabanas of San Antonio; and nephew, Dr. Bill Thornton and his wife, Nedra, of San Antonio.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Crump; and sister, Merle Thornton.

The family would like to thank New Century Hospice for the compassion they gave during this difficult time.

A memorial service for Mrs. Crump will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 1, 2016, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland, with a burial of her cremated body to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
