Caroldene Fields Brock,
85, of Nederland, died Monday, September 19, 2016, in Houston. She was born on
April 4, 1931, in Fort Worth, to Johnie J. Adams Fields and George Carroll
Fields.
Survivors include her
daughters, Janet Young and her husband, Steven; Elaine Hauffe and her husband,
Paul; and Karen Brock all of Houston; son, Keith Brock of Irving;
grandchildren, Jennifer Mayr, Rachel Young, Sarah Young, Loribeth Hauffe,
Jaclyn Hauffe, Julianna Simpson and her husband, Logan, Michael Hauffe;
great-grandchildren, Jason Simpson and Ember and Nash Delaney; sisters,
Christine Sager and her husband, Dick; Shirley Wilkerson; and Pamela Lazenby
and her husband, Steve; brother, Randy Fields and his wife, Glenda; and numerous
nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in
death by her parents; husband, William “Jack” Brock; infant son, Kenneth;
grandson, Stephen Hauffe; and brothers, Robert and George Fields.
A memorial service for
Mrs. Brock will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 24, 2016, in the fellowship
hall, at First Baptist Church, 1911 Nederland Avenue, Nederland, under the
direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
