Carl "Pop" Simon

Carl “Pop” Simon, 73, of Port Arthur, died Sunday, September 18, 2016. He was born on November 28, 1942, to Dorothy Broussard Simon and Alexander Simon.  

Survivors include his sons, Brian Simon and his wife, Cheryl, of Port Acres and Robert Simon of Jasper; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and sisters, Belinda Rives and her husband, Kenneth, of Brookeland and Vivian Gilstrap of Lumberton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife and mother of his children, Bonnie Lynn Castille; wife, Elva Dale Simon; and great-granddaughter, Addison Kathleen Simon.

Cremation arrangements for Mr. Simon will be under the direction of Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
