Sandra
Kay McShan, 59, of Sour Lake, died Wednesday, September 14, 2016. She was born
on April 10, 1957, in Kountze, to Emily and Douglas McShan, and was a longtime
resident of Sour Lake.
Sandra’s
grandchildren, Brayden and Bryleigh, were the love of her life even more than
all of the animals she loved dearly.
Survivors
include her father, Douglas McShan of Sour Lake; son, Jerry McShan and his
wife, Jennifer, of Fannett; grandchildren, Brayden and Bryleigh; sister, Sherry
Stallings of Sour Lake; brothers, Jim McShan and his wife, Jamie and Doug
McShan and his wife, Monica, all of Houston; longtime friend, Tom Schwab; and
numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She
is preceded in death by her mother, Emily McShan; uncles, Bucky Williford, David
Williford, and Edward McShan; and aunts, Iva Lee Broadwater, Joyce Wilson, Maxine
Higby, and Juanita Whittington.
A
gathering of Sandra’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00
p.m., Friday, September 16, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive,
Beaumont. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 17,
2016, at First Baptist Church of Sour Lake, 765 South 6th Street,
Sour Lake. A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium,
Beaumont.
