Gail “Gig”
Elizabeth Guidry, 61, of Nederland, died September 8, 2016. She was born on
September 25, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan, to Juliet Fornolls Balitzky and
Gerald Balitzky.
Survivors include
her husband, Paul Edward Guidry of Nederland; daughter, Nikki Jolene Vaquera
and her husband, Rolando, of Nederland; son, Paul Adam Guidry of San Antonio; granddaughters,
Sydnie Gail Leonard and Veronica Ann Vaquera; mother, Juliet “Judy” Dies of
Nederland; sisters, Pam Coleman and Karen Miller, both of Nederland; and
numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in
death by her father; and nephew David Gerald Miller.
A gathering of
Mrs. Guidry’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with
her Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, September 11, 2016, at Broussard’s,
505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 10:00
a.m., Monday, September 12, 2016, at Broussard’s, Nederland, with interment at
Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
