Jolea Viguet

Jolea Viguet, 81, of Nederland, died Wednesday, August 31, 2016. She was born on November 3, 1934, in Beaumont, to Louis Madge Roberts Golden and Harold Lee Golden.

In her younger years, she enjoyed cooking for her family and tending to her patio plants. She enjoyed making friends at the nursing home and playing bingo.

Survivors include her daughter, Vicky Yoes and her husband, Tommy Jr. of Nederland; sons, Matthew Viguet and his wife, Lee-Ann, of Azle and Mark Viguet and his wife, Amy, of Springfield, Missouri; grandchildren, Ryan Yoes and his wife, Kim; Shannon Thomas and her husband, Chris; Drew Viguet; Hillary Viguet; Molly Viguet; and Caleb Viguet; and great-grandchildren, Brody Yoes, Cambre Yoes; Eli Thomas; Owen Thomas; and Hazel Thomas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Don Murray Viguet, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Charlotte Viguet; sister, Barbara Brown; and brother-in-law, Bob Brown.

A gathering of Ms. Viguet’s family and friends will be 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Friday, September 2, 2016, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland, with her graveside service to follow at 2:30 p.m., at Hooks Cemetery, Hooks Cemetery Road, Kountze.
