Charles
“Chuck” Gaudet, Jr., 48, of Port Acres, died Saturday, August 27, 2016, at The
Medical Center of Southeast Texas, Port Arthur. He was born on September 7,
1967, in Beaumont, to Jo Gross and Charles Joseph Gaudet, Sr., and had been a
longtime resident of Port Acres. He was a meat cutter at Market Basket and HEB
for many years. Chuck enjoyed hunting, fishing, and raising his chickens.
He
is survived by his father, Charlie Gaudet, Sr., of Port Acres; sisters, Jo
Sexton, of Groves. Donna Gaudet Middleton, of Austin, and Winde Gaudet Fink, of
Groves; brother, Marc Gaudet and his wife, Deborah, of Groves; aunt, Susie
Gaudet, of China; numerous nieces; nephews; and cousins; and a host of other
relatives and friends.
Chuck
is preceded in death by his mother, Jo Gaudet; and brother, Jon Sexton.
A
gathering of Mr. Gaudet’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00
p.m., Monday, August 29, 2016, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th
Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 30,
2016, at Broussard’s, Nederland. A private committal will be held at Broussard’s
Crematorium, Beaumont.
