Charles
Ronald “Ron” Reiche, 81, of Beaumont, died Friday, August 26, 2016, at Atria
Collier Park, Beaumont. He was born on January 11, 1935, in Pleasant Hill,
Missouri, to Anna Alice Kircher and Otto William Reiche, and had been a
longtime resident of Beaumont. Ron retired from PPG (now Axiall Corporation) as
a Chemical Engineer, after thirty-one years of employment.
He
loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, and photography.
Ron
is survived by his wife, Jean Reiche; daughters, Rhonda Mohr and her husband,
Danny, of Cypress and Melanie Jones and her husband, Bud, of Beaumont;
grandchildren, Kimberly Sebastian and her husband, Matt; Sierra Begnaud and her
husband, Josh; Justin Vaughan; Heather Begnaud and her husband, Jason; and Keri
Renner and her husband, Todd; great-grandchildren, Karsen, Sophia, Mason, Otto,
Oren, Caleb, Ford, Ryland, and Emory; and sister-in-law, Nancy Reiche, of
Beaumont.
The
family would like to extend a special thank you to Ron’s caregiver, Margaret
Keyes.
A
private committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the
direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
In
lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Reiche’s name to St.
Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. 1000, Department 142, Memphis,
Tennessee 38148.
