Henry Bennett

Henry Bennett, 70, of Winnie, died Sunday, August 21, 2016.
He was born February 10, 1946, in Simpson, Louisiana to Amie Jackson Bennett
and William James Bennett. He was retired from the petrochemical industry, traveling
extensively in the south, as a combination pipe welder.
Henry had a extensive array of businesses, in his lifetime.
He was a bar owner, hunter and trapper, landowner, bar owner, “Bennett’s tire
store and mechanic shop, and for a time, hauled mobile homes.
Survivors include his daughter, Diane Webb and her husband,
David, of Pineville, Louisiana; sons, Henry Eugene Bennett, of Angola,
Louisiana; William J. Bennett and his wife, Sebrina and Donnie L. Bennett, all
of Anahuac; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of family
members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers; and
sisters.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday,
August, 25, 2016 at Pine Island Cemetery, Hwy 465, Simpson, Louisiana, under
the direction of Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive,Winnie.
