Greyson Paul Meche

Greyson Paul Meche, 2, of Nederland, passed away Monday, August 1, 2016. He was born on March 10, 2014, in Port Arthur, to Alana Joan Fontenot Meche and Asaph Paul Meche.

Greyson loved to play outside with his brothers and family, whom he adored. He loved to swordfight and play with trucks. Greyson was so sweet with an infectious smile that lit up any room. He will be remembered as mommy’s lil man.

Survivors include his parents, Asaph and Alana Meche of Nederland; brothers, Dallen, Tanner, and Felton Meche of Nederland; grandparents, Deborah Meche of Nederland; Sheila and Keith Fontenot of Dequincy, Louisiana; John Meche of Sulphur, Louisiana; Stephanie Taylor of Lake Charles, Louisiana; and Byron Taylor of Lake Charles, Louisiana; aunts and uncles, Zach Meche of Sulphur, Louisiana; Amber Meche and her husband, Rob Sewell, of Brookeland; Alicia “Nanny” and her husband, Chad Cassia, of Lake Charles, Louisiana; and Stacy Fontenot of Lake Charles, Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Geraldine Paschall, Loresa Fontenot, and Felton Meche.

A gathering of Greyson’s family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m., with his funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m., Friday, August 5, 2016, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Cremation arrangements will be under the direction of Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
