Marty
Bayless, 53, of Beaumont, died Friday, July 29, 2016, at Baptist Hospitals of
Southeast Texas, Beaumont. He was born on October 15, 1962, in Beaumont, to Jacqueline
Martin Bayless and Alton Bayless. Marty was a lifelong resident of Lumberton,
and in the recent years moved back to Beaumont. He was a Supervisor with
ExxonMobil for over twenty years. Marty was a loving husband and father; and a
giving person who loved all those around him.
He
is survived by his wife, Lisa Bayless; son, Garrett Peters, of Lumberton;
daughter, Morgan Bayless, of San Antonio; mother, Jackie Brinson and her
husband, Wilson “Ben”, of Lumberton; brother, John Bayless and his wife,
Stephanie; nephew, Cole Bayless; and niece, Monika Vider, all of San Antonio.
A
gathering of Mr. Bayless’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00
p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., and a Christian Vigil to follow,
Sunday, July 31, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass
of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 1, 2016,
at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 225 West Barkley, Sour Lake, with his
interment to follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Sour Lake.
