Sam
Herbert Smith, 86, of Missouri City, died Tuesday, July 26, 2016. He was born
on March 21, 1930, to Allie Bellow Smith and Sidney Carmack Smith, in Beaumont.
Survivors
include his sons, Dana Smith of Austin and Greg Smith and his wife, Charla, of
Georgetown; daughters, Heidi Schneider and her husband, George, of Alvin and
Scarlett Arias and her husband, Robert, of Pearland; brother, Harry L. Smith
and his wife, Connie, of Buna; brother-in-law, Edward Spears; grandchildren,
Lindsey Sandoval, Abigayle Arias, Zachary Arias, and Luke Arias; great-grandchild,
Clementine Sandoval; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He
is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Debbie Smith; sister, Joan Spears;
and brother, Sidney Smith.
A
gathering of Mr. Smith’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. with his
funeral service to begin at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, July 30, 2016, at
Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His interment will follow at
Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
