Winnie Marie Gauthreaux

Winnie Marie Gauthreaux, 87, of Winnie, died Tuesday, July 19, 2016. She was born July 21, 1928, to Aline Holloway Bergeron and Eustice Bergeron, in Church Point, Louisiana, and had been a longtime resident of the Winnie area.

Survivors include her daughters, Delores Nugent and her husband, Elton, of Winnie; Polly Honish, of Odessa; sons, Julius Gauthreaux and his wife, Jackie, of Winnie; Damon Gauthreaux and his wife, Lisa, of League City; and  Allen Gauthreaux and his wife, Tammy, of Lubbock; grandchildren, Keefer Miner, Brandie Wallace, Scott Gauthreaux, Rusty Gauthreaux, Amanda Middleton, Candace Walker, Beau Honish, Ashley Gray, Christopher Gauthreaux and Brandon Gauthreaux; twelve great-grandchildren: sisters, Millie Hammond, of Lady Lake, Florida and Lydia Comeaux, of Rayne, Louisiana. 

She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Roy Gauthreaux; and four brothers.

A gathering of Mrs. Gauthreaux’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 4:00 p.m., Friday, July 22, 2016, at St. Louis Catholic Church, 315 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie, with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
