Albert C. Schwarz, Sr.

Albert C. Schwarz, Sr., 81, of
Belton, formerly of Port Neches, died Friday, July 15, 2016. He was born on May
3, 1935, in Lackawanna, New York, to Erna Sickau Schwarz and Albert Otto
Schwarz.
Albert will be remembered as an
excellent electrician. He retired as an Electrician by trade. He had many
hobbies of restoring antique cars, gardening, and building/carpentry. Albert
was an avid NASCAR fan and a member of the Board of Directors for the Port
Neches Senior Center. He was a United States Navy veteran and a member of
American Legion. Albert will be remembered for his patriotism and love of this
country. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches.
Survivors include his wife of one
year, Lois Schwarz, of Belton; daughters, Debra Schwarz of Belton and Sandy
Scallan and her husband, Steven, of Gonzales, Louisiana; son, Albert “Buddy”
Schwarz, Jr. of Ferris; grandchildren, Ashley, Brandon, Andrea, and Steven;
great-grandchildren, Ethan, Chloe, Reid, Claire, and Marley; and sister, Elsie
Prongay and her husband, Herb, of Norwalk, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his
wife of forty-eight years, Emma Schwarz; parents, Albert and Erna Schwarz; and
grandson, James Nathan LeDoux.
In lieu of flowers, memorial
contributions may be made to Victory Junction, 4500 Adams Way, Randleman, North
Carolina 27317.
A gathering of Mr. Schwarz's family
and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with his Rosary to be
recited at 5:30 p.m., Sunday, July 17, 2016, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th
Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 18,
2016, at Broussard’s, with his entombment to follow at Memory Gardens of
Jefferson County, Nederland.
