Linda Sue Schiesler,
72, of Friendswood, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, in her home. She was
born on October 21, 1943, in Beaumont, to Gladys Blanton Wood and Marshall
Wood.
Linda is survived by
her children, Melissa Heitman and her husband, Cory Petersen; and John
Schiesler; and granddaughter, Alyssa Heitman, all of Friendswood; sisters, Judy
Turnell of Kountze; Betty Lechner of Dayton; Nancy Verzinski of Midlothian; and
numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in
death by her parents; and husband, Edward Schiesler.
The family would like
to extend a special thank you to the doctors and staff of Heart to Heart
Hospice Care, Houston.
A gathering of Mrs.
Schiesler’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with her funeral
service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Broussard’s, 2000
McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial
Park, Beaumont.
