I've been trying to decide how to
describe the feelings and emotions my family has gone through since we found
out my brother was gone; devastation, heartbreak, sadness, loss....and on and
on. Those are inadequate words. He was my best friend (most of the time, lol),
he was my parents favorite son (only son, again, lol), he was a truly amazing
father to the best kid I've ever known (I might be biased) and he was a great
friend to many. He was quick witted, smart, adventurous, fun, always down for a
good time! He loved his family and friends. He has maintained many of those
friendships for 25 years plus. He loved his daughter unconditionally and whole
heartedly. She has suffered one of the biggest losses she will ever have to
endure. I wish I could thank each and every one of y'all personally who has
reached out to me and my family during this horrible tragedy but I'm blessed to
say there are too many to count. Just know who you are and you will forever
have a huge piece of my heart. I love y'all and please please continue to pray
for us as we will need it in the months to come. I hope to see each and every
one of y'all at the funeral so I can hug your necks! RIP my sweet brother. I'll
think of you and miss you every day for the rest of my life.
All my love,
Michele
