Glenn Bates
Chapman, 60, of Port Neches, died Tuesday, July 5, 2016. He was born on
September 6, 1955, in Port Arthur, to Clarice Murrell Tubb and Alton Sterling
Chapman.
Glenn was a
wonderful singer, musician, and a true artist. He was described as a
Renaissance man who smiled from morning to night. Glenn was a funny man who
kept everyone happy; he was a true joy to all.
Survivors
include his wife, Royce Chapman, step-sons, Todd Hankey, Taylor Robison, and
Traval Robison; five grandchildren, the joys of his life; mother, Murrell
Chapman; and brothers, Chris Chapman and Don Chapman. He was preceded in death
by his father, Alton Chapman; and brother, Cary Chapman.
A private family
memorial for Mr. Chapman will be held at a later date under the direction of
Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
